The war grave burial site in Erftstadt can be found in the Erp Cemetery, next to St Pantaleon’s Church. There is a large stone cross not far from the entrance. One side of this burial section contains the graves of German soldiers who fell in World War I and World War II while the opposite side holds the graves of victims of World War II deported to the Third Reich. The deceased are commemorated by stone crosses with the victims’ personal data inscribed upon them. Among those buried here are 7 Polish citizens.
