According to the official cemetery records, the municipal Forest Cemetery (Waldfriedhof) contains 99 war graves. In the middle part of the cemetery, in burial sections Nos. 1, 2 and 5, there are the last remains of 30 Germans, 26 Poles, 11 Russians, 8 Netherlanders, 4 Belgians, 4 Yugoslavs, 3 French, 3 Latvians, 3 Hungarians, 2 Romanians, 2 Austrians, 1 Czech, 1 Dane, and 1 unidentified person. They were soldiers, forced labourers and their children. A number of graves are marked by metal crosses with the names of the victims as well as gravestones that stand or lie next to them. In the central part of the cemetery there is a stone with the following inscription: ‘Here, in this cemetery rest 99 victims, including 19 children, 11 women and 69 men. They died in the years 1944-1948 as soldiers or civilians as a result of the war, their escapes, or forced labour - Germans, Poles, Russians, and 10 other nationalities.’
