Section No. 25a of the Forest Cemetery (Waldfriedhof) in Pirmasens holds the graves of several Polish citizens. It is located in the central part of the cemetery, next to the northern border. The graves come from the 1940s and 1950s. The majority are the graves of soldiers from Polish Guard Companies of the US Army. During the war, the deceased were deported to the Third Reich as forced labourers and prisoners of various camps. After the war, they stayed in Germany and served in the American Army.
