Fludersbach Cmentarz Robotników Przymusowych

Cemetery description

The Cemetery for Forced Labourers in Siegen Fludersbach is very hard to find since it is located among the warehouses and workshops in the industrial district of the city. The entrance gate is located next to a residential building so, in order to find the cemetery, one has to pass by the entrance to this building at 156 Fludersbach Street. In the cemetery there are almost 200 graves of forced labourers, most of whom came from the USSR, while another 20 came from Poland. Their names are inscribed upon a stone stele, a memorial plaque and on several stone crosses.
