Cemetery description

In the Old Catholic Cemetery in Biberach an der Riss which, since 1995, has been a municipal cemetery, there are two burial sites that hold war graves. One is located near the entrance. The graves are arranged in a row on both sides of a centrally placed cross and are marked by headstones with the first and last names of the deceased (3 persons on each headstone) inscribed upon them. Among those buried here are Polish citizens. The other burial site for victims of the Second World War is located in the central part of the cemetery. Here, the graves are arranged in a row and the headstones and the cross are similar to those in the previous burial site.
