The Porz Cemetery in Cologne contains two burial sites for victims of World War II. One of them is devoted to the Soviet victims who died in German captivity between 1941 and 1945. The other holds the graves of German victims of World War II.
According to the official cemetery records, at least 10 identified Polish citizens are buried in the cemetery - also victims of World War II. The deceased were interred in collective graves in the same burial site in which the Soviet citizens are commemorated. However, the memorial plaque marking this part of the cemetery bears no information about the Poles resting here
