According to the Saxony-Anhalt government authorities, 2 Polish victims of World War II are buried in the southern cemetery in Halle (Saale). Right next to the entrance to the cemetery stand monuments to the memory of victims of air bombardments. The eastern part contains the war graves of the Red Army soldiers.
