In the northern part of the Wolmirstedt cemetery stands a memorial commemorating the foreign victims of World War II. At the entrance to this section is a granite memorial plaque with an inscription that reads: ‘In memory of 27 women and men from Poland, the USSR and Yugoslavia, who lost their lives in the years 1941-1945 as forced labourers.’ There are also two rows of gravestones with the names of victims, 22 of whom were Polish citizens.
The available cemetery records and archival documents mention at least 38 persons - Polish citizens who are buried elsewhere in the cemetery.
In the central part of the cemetery there is a walled-off burial site for victims of World Wars I and II, with 10 plaques containing the names of German citizens who lost their lives during the war. Around the site stand various monuments moved here from other burial sites.
